Hi people!!
I am already at Lindau, it´s in the middle of Germany, there are no near big cities (nearest one is Hannover). I had to take a plane there, then 2 trains to a small stop, in the middle of the night, where I managed to get a taxi to THE hotel in the village. This is a real village, surrounded by green landscape, cows, … Beautiful, indeed. I would like to work here, but there´s not social life here (pubs, movies, …).
I found that we were more than hundred applications this year for around 10 positions… and we are now 20 on the short list. They will decide with our talks and interviews… half the options!!
I am quite happy here, now… but really far form home.

Ayer llegué al fin a este pequenio pueblo, solo hay prados alrededor y casitas, no hay bares, cines, … es super pequeño,… aunque claro que mucho más grande que La Corrada… El hotel está genial y el Max Planck es la leche! Ojalá me elijan… si estoy aquí es porque he pasado la criba de las más de cien solicitudes, y estoy entre los 18 preselecionados, para 10 plazas… a ver!
Creo que seria bueno hacer el doctorado aquí, aunque está super lejos y es bastante complicado llegar… y no sé alemán!

El miércoles a las 3 es la entrevista-charla…
